The Triumph of Galatea

Franco Cipolletti · 2017

A composition inspired by mythology, in which the movement of the figures, the intensity of the blue and the golden highlights evoke the beauty and strength of the Mediterranean.

The surface of the vase becomes a painted stage: mythological figures, sea creatures and plant motifs intertwine in a narrative full of movement.

The sculpted handles, the ornate lid and the richness of colour recall the tradition of Italian maiolica, in which painting and volume merge into a single artistic expression.

A piece with a strong decorative personality, conceived to be admired from every angle.
