The people who make up Opiforia come from
different disciplines, but they share the same way
of understanding their work:

Understand the material, respect the craft
and love what you do.

Daniele Cipolletti

“I have been turning ideas into matter
for more than thirty years.
My work spans sculpture,
set design, model making,
restoration and the development
of artistic objects.

My work is born where
craft tradition meets experimentation.
Matter, space and intuition
create the spark that
lights the emotion that moves and shapes everything.
A pilgrim in this world, always searching
for a path that is made by walking.”

Opiforia was born as the synthesis of that journey.
Today it is a shared place, where the craft,
imagination and materials of different artists
come together to create works made to last…
or to exist only as long as needed.

01 · How we work

A bridge between the artist and whoever commissions the work

Opiforia is neither a factory nor an ordinary shop. It is the place where an idea meets the person who can make it real.

  • Every work belongs to its author.Opiforia presents the artists’ work, but authorship and signature always belong to whoever makes the piece.
  • Opiforia listens and connects. We receive the request, help define the idea and place it in the hands of the artist best suited by material, technique and experience.
  • The commission is signed with the artist.Opiforia gives you a price agreed with the artist. Timing, payments and the terms of making or sale are then set out in a commission sheet signed directly between artist and client. Opiforia is not a party to that agreement.
  • What Opiforia does:listen to the idea, guide, introduce the artist, support communication and make sure the process is clear for both sides.
  • What Opiforia does not do:it does not make other artists’ works or guarantee their artistic result, which depends on their author.
  • No cost for artists. For now, joining Opiforia and presenting works is free. If this ever changes, all artists will be told in advance.
02 · For artists

Joining Opiforia

We are not looking for a style, but for a way of working.

Admission criteria

  1. A proven track record in your discipline: completed works, training or workshop experience.
  2. Work done mainly by hand, with command of technique and respect for the material.
  3. Transparency about the origin of each work: whether it is an original creation, a reinterpretation or a copy of an existing work must be stated. Works that infringe third-party rights are not accepted.
  4. Every proposed work is reviewed personally in the workshop before publication.
  5. Willingness to work on commission and to answer clients seriously and within reasonable times.
  6. Affinity with the principles of the Manifesto.

How selection works

Send us a short introduction and images of the works you want to show: you can send one or several, and tell us whether you would like to exhibit them in Works or put them up for sale in the Shop. If you like, add a link to your website or social media.

Opiforia was born in Daniele’s workshop, grew into a family exhibition and now opens its doors to other artists. We look at each proposal personally and, when appropriate, suggest a conversation or a visit to the workshop.

The final decision rests with Opiforia, which may review an artist’s participation if these criteria are no longer met. Artists who join sign a short collaboration agreement covering prices, timing, dealings with clients and the use of images.

03 · Images and rights

Works, and their images, belong to those who create them

  • The rights remain with the artist.Publishing a work on Opiforia does not transfer its intellectual property.
  • We only publish with permission. Before a work is shown, the artist authorises in writing the use of its images on the website and Opiforia’s channels, for presentation and promotion.
  • Always credited.Every image carries the name of its author and, where relevant, the photographer.
  • The artist can withdraw them.Just ask and a work or an image will be removed from the website.
  • Respect for the client. Before publishing a commissioned work, we also ask for the client’s consent, especially for portraits, personal pieces or private spaces.
  • Would you like to use an image?Write to us and we will put you in touch with its author.
